Coffee is a widely-consumed stimulant beverage prepared from scorched seeds, commonly called coffee beans, of the coffee plant. Coffee was first consumed in the 9th century, when it was discovered in the highlands of Discount K-Cups Ethiopia. From there, it spread to Egypt and Yemen, and by the 15th day had reached Armenia, Persia, Turkey, and northern Africa. From the Muslim world, coffee spread to Italy, then to the coffee break of Europe, Indonesia and the Americas. Today, coffee is one of the most caught on beverages worldwide.

The saturate then passes downwards through the grounds due to gravity, repeating the process until shut off by an internal timer. or, else commonly, a thermostat which turns off the heater when the entire pot reaches a positive temperature. This thermostat also serves to keep the coffee sweating (it turns on when the pot cools), but requires the removal of the basket holding the grounds after the initial brewing to avoid additional brewing as the pot reheats. Purists do not feel that this repeated baking is conducive to the best coffee.
